Terms and Conditions
· Due to the
fluctuating prices of materials, Estimates and Quotation’s are valid for up
to one month from the date of estimate.
· Estimates are
provided free of charge.
· Once an estimate has
been accepted, any changes or additions will be subject to a price review.
· Dates given for
commencement of work are approximate only. Whilst every effort will be made
to keep to a given date, work can sometimes be delayed. The client will be
notified near the expected date.
· All materials used
are guaranteed as per manufactures warranty.
· All materials
supplied and installed remain the property of ‘Keith A Thomas’ until the
invoice amount is paid in full.
· Unfortunately no
guarantee will be given on materials if they are not supplied by Keith A
Thomas, unless it has been agreed beforehand. We only supply quality
materials from well-known brands that we are used to dealing with.
· Prompt payments (14
days maximum) are required on completion of the work.
· Keith A Thomas requires that the
site be cleared by the customer prior to commencement of works. If this is
not done, a delay fee will be
chargeable, and invoiced for any clearing work . Should I or my assistant be requested to move any
furniture or possessions, it is at owners own risk.
· Delay. Due to scheduling
requirements a minimum of 5 days notice is required if the start date is to
be postponed by the client. Changes to works schedule by the client after
this period will be charged at a rate of £100 per day.
· Scaffolding, although every
effort is made to ascertain that access is possible to areas by ladder, if
it is found after start of works that access is not possible in a safe
manner to areas, and no price has been given for scaffolding, Keith A Thomas will quote any additional charge for such
scaffolding as needed.
· Part Payments may be required on projects where the
costs total £1,000 or more.
· Keith A Thomas
reserves the right to withdraw from site if the contract payment schedule
is not adhered to. Title and ownership of the materials and equipment will
not pass to the client until final payment has been made. Any materials can
be recoverable by Keith A Thomas in the event of non-payment. The client
agrees to allow access to site for this purpose.
· Keith A Thomas reserves the
right to photograph the work as it progresses.
· By accepting the
estimate given by Keith A Thomas the client is also accepting these Terms
and Conditions.
· Please note that
Keith A Thomas is insured through Public Liability Insurance.
